Hello.
Today, I'm writing this entry in my poor English because I'd like to people who can't understand Japanese know the situation or what one of Japanese think.(There is another reason that I don't want Japanese to read this blog post because this topic is sensitive.)
Where I went was Ishinomaki city in Miyagi. You could see unbelievably devastated situation easily if you were there. However, letting you to imagine the depressed scenes is not what I'd like to do. So I will tell you what I thought.
●Beautiful nature
I often gazed in wonder at beautiful nature there. You know, there are remains of houses and cars that washed away, but I couldn't feel sad all the time thanks to it. The splendid views on the beaches and from the mountains have been making people relax as well, to some extent, regardless of their conscious. (even if there were lots of floating bodies soon after 3.11.)
Also, fishes and meets are so delicious. One of my friends who moved to Ishinomaki city from Tokyo in order to give a help to them said, "it is nice that I can eat delicious and fresh foods easily instead of being in convenient." It hit me that we pay for something in nature that people have for free once, in exchange of convenience or material abundance that don't necessarily mean being happy.
At the same time, I think that if the earthquake hit Tokyo where has no nature, it would be a kind of hell. Everything would go off. The atmosphere would get gloomy and depressed. I don't even want to imagine that.
●People have their wills
On the last day to work, we went to the area typhoon has hit although people didn't have any damage on 3.11.
Then, it was the first time to work with people as talking something. The most surprising thing was they were so energetic and vital. They looked no longer depressed. They rather had warm hearts to take care of volunteers as giving food and drink, that were provided by some companies.
There was no difference among men and women, the younger people and the older people. They had their wills to get their own lives back same as before. We just follow their instruction given by women most of the time.(This was surprising for me too. Most of the men living there also didn't understand what they should do same as volunteers on some parts. haha)
●To just follow them
It would be tough and so long way to go. We must support them. But it doesn't mean we must feel sorry for them. Their future will be bright as long as they have their wills. What we should do is to just follow them as volunteering or donating without any concern. We can revitalize Japan together.
If you have any opportunity to come here Japan to go to Tohoku area, do not be too serious. I think they would look happier with beautiful nature than you think. They live their own lives.
You could see warm and energetic people there although I'm not sure what they actually think.
What is a good choice? How can we get it?
It doesn't depends on the numbers of choices, but depends on a perception that you chose it by yourself.
The point is just going your own way after choosing, is not a choice itself.
To be optimistic honestly.
To have confidence if you don't have any evidence to indicate it.
To believe yourself
etc,etc.
It's kind like religious, but our happiness is brought by inside ourselves. Our environment had nothing to do with it.
There is no appropriate way to go. Just make it by ourselves.
Hello.
For practicing my English, I just decided to start writing blogs in English.
Does anyone up for it with me? lol If so, please let me know :) Not to hesitate and get embarrassed to use English is the key point for improvement of English I think.
Today, Im going to write down about Social Apartment where i now live. Social Apartment is a new-style residence. Its traits are followings:
1)you live there with more than 30 residents.
2)you have each own rooms.
3)you can use a shared lounge and kitchen.
4)you have time to talk with Japanese easily.
So, it's different from a dorm and a shared house. We can live rich without getting rich.
If you are going to come here, Japan, Social Apartment is highly recommended!
Here is a link of Social Apartment Kikuna where i live now:
It's short, but I stopped it here. I think it's important to keep longer.
If you find any mistakes, please let me know :p
<English>
Say my name, and his in the same breath, I
Dare you to say they taste the same,
Let the leaves fall off in the summer
And let December glow feel flames
Brace myself and let go,
Start it over again in Mexico
These friends, they don't love you
They just love the hotel suites, now
I don't care what you think
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness
In misery
Oh, take a chance, let your body get a tolerance,
I'm not a chance, but a heat wave in your pants
Pull a breath like another cigarette,
Palms up, I'm trading 'em (trading 'em)
I'm the oracle in my chest,
Let the guitar scream like a fascist,
Sweat it out, shut your mouth,
Free love on the streets, but
In the alley and I ain't that cheap, now
I don't care what you think,
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness
In misery
I don't care what you think,
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness
In misery
Said-a, I don't care just a-what you think,
As long as it's about me, you said-a
I don't care just what you think,
As long as it's about me, you said-a
I don't care (I don't care)
You said I don't care (I don't care)
Said I don't care,
I don't care
I don't care (I don't care), I said-a
I don't care
I don't care what you think,
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness
In misery
I don't care what you think,
As long as it's about me
The best of us can find happiness
In misery

2)の女性はまだ直接会ったことはなく、ネットで知り合った女性です。
日本が好きというところで、2010年の初め頃にお友だちになりました。当時から" I Love Japan. I hate German guys. LOL I will live in Japan forever !"と言ってた子で、変わったひともいるもんだなぁと思っていたら、2010年の10月には本当に日本に来てしまいました(笑)いまは都内で日本語学校に通っているようです。ちなみにそのときのサイトはこちらのInterpalsというサイトです。
